The Peapod Project Foundation was established in 2007 by Ted and Annette Stenstrom after the loss of their baby girl, Moreland Grace, known affectionately to them as Gigi. It was the Stenstrom's experiences during Moreland Grace's brief life at Children's Memorial Hospital that inspired them to create a formal program that provides extensive resources to support families and guide hospital staff through this very difficult time. Now successfully in operation at Children's Memorial Hospital, it is our hope to continue to extend this program well beyond its current reach.
The Peapod Project will be holding their 5th annual 5K/10K Walk/Run at Solider Field on June 21st, 2012. Step-off time is 6:30 pm.
5K Pre-Registration: $35 before June 13th, 2012
10K Pre-Registration: $40 before June 13th, 2012
17 and Under Pre-Registration: $20
Children 12 and under are free (must register)
CARA Members: $5 discount
