The Peapod Project Foundation was established in 2007 by Ted and Annette Stenstrom after the loss of their baby girl, Moreland Grace, known affectionately to them as Gigi. It was the Stenstrom's experiences during Moreland Grace's brief life at Children's Memorial Hospital that inspired them to create a formal program that provides extensive resources to support families and guide hospital staff through this very difficult time. Now successfully in operation at Children's Memorial Hospital, it is our hope to continue to extend this program well beyond its current reach.
